Results from the Use of the Pedikom Orthotics

We can see from the following examples how the Pedikom restorative orthotics can actively improve and correct foot conditions:

Example 1

First examination:
The right foot has a high arch as no pressure can be seen along the side of the foot (the green area). This means that this part of the foot is not touching the ground. The left foot has degree 3 flat foot. This can be seen by the large side pressure area (pink/blue colour). The difference between the left and right side causes an unbalanced condition.

Second examination (two years later):
The right foot has the high arch corrected, while the flat-foot condition on the left has been reduced. The balance has been restored (both heels are providing good support).

Example 2

First examination:
The right foot has a high arch. The left foot is developing high arches and losing the supporting pressure along the side of the foot. This difference causes an unbalanced condition.

Second examination (one year later):
The right foot has the high arch corrected. The left foot has had the high arch development stopped and the arches restored. The balance has been restored.

Example 3

First examination:
Extreme flat feet with two different degrees. The right foot is degree 3, while the left foot is degree 4. This difference causes an unbalanced condition.

Second examination (eighteen months later):
Both feet have had the degree of flat feet reduced to degree 2. The balance has been significantly restored.

Example 4

First examination:
Both feet have very high arches. The pressure difference between the left and right sides shows an unbalanced condition.

Second examination (one year later):
The high arches have been greatly improved and the balance has been significantly restored.

Example 5

First examination:
Two different degrees of flat feet with bunions. The pressure difference between the left and right sides creates an unbalanced condition.

Second examination (two years later):
A reduction in the size of the bunions has taken place and the balance between the left and right sides has significantly improved.

Example 6

First examination:
High arch on the right foot. High arch developing on the left foot.

Second examination (six months later):
Pressure support along the side of the foot has been restored for both the left and right feet.

Example 7

First examination:
Degree four flat feet on both sides.

Second examination (one year later):
The right side has improved by one degree (now degree three) and the left side has improved by two degrees (now degree two).

Example 8

First examination (2003):
Two different degrees of high arch. Severe pronation.

Second examination (2005):
The pressure supports along the side of the feet has begun restoration on both feet. Pressure distribution is better between both feet.

Third examination (2007):
The improvement has continued in both sides. The left side no longer has a high arch. Overall pressure distribution is much better on both feet.
