The examination process
Initial Discussion
Introductions are made and the patient is invited to describe any foot problems that they are experiencing or pain elsewhere in the body. A short discussion follows, concerning any other details that may be relevant (past history, operations, etc).
Completion of the Data Sheet

Personal and other required and relevant details are recorded onto the SupOrt program database.
Recording the Image
The patient stands barefoot on the "Podoscope", which is the diagnostic examination and measurement instrument. The patient stands upon the glass surface, with weight distributed in his/her normal standing postion.
The Podoscope is connected to a computer and a digital picture of the patient's feet is captured and recorded. The entire process is simple, quick and efficient.
The SupOrt program transfers the digital image from the Podoscope into a colour pressure map and a 3D model. |
